Accountability for Children’s Rights in Ukraine
Children’s rights violations must be visible. And those responsible must be held accountable.
Why this matters
When a child’s rights are violated, what happened too often goes unseen.
No record. No consequence. No change.
This programme exists to to document what happened — and turn that evidence into action.
Duration: October 2026 – December 2027
Cost: 36,000 USD | 32,000 EUR

For example:
A children’s service refused to accept a report of domestic violence against a child. The case was never properly recorded. The child received no help and stayed in the home where the violence happened. No one was held to account for that failure.
A child is displaced by war. The shelling is documented. The loss of contact with family, the barriers to keeping their own identity, the schooling lost to hours in a shelter — none of it is counted, and no remedy follows.
Your support will fund:
– documenting what happened to children, so the record exists;
– finding out where the law and the institutions failed them;
– taking that evidence to the authorities responsible – in Ukraine and internationally;
– making the findings public;
– going to court where the case can change the rule for many (strategic litigation).

Emergency Costs
We cover urgent and unforeseen expenses necessary to protect children’s rights: support in cases at the international level, preparation of immediate materials, and other actions aligned with the organisation’s statutory purpose that cannot be planned in advance.

Terms of Donation
By making a donation to the selected project, you confirm that:
- The donation is a non-refundable financial contribution, and the donated amount cannot be returned.
- You consent to the possible reallocation and use of the funds for other projects of the organisation if the fundraising for the selected project is closed, fully funded, or no longer relevant.
